America’s Most ENCHANTING Forest? Road Tripping into REDWOOD NATIONAL PARK & AVENUE OF THE GIANTS!
Time to head deeper into Northern California — and wow, this episode is a good one. We kick off the day with a classic American breakfast at IHOP, before diving into the true reality of road tripping the USA: a pit stop at Target. Stocked up, we make our way to what ends up being one of my favourite stretches of the whole trip – the Avenue of the Giants.
This scenic drive through towering redwoods genuinely blew my mind. It’s peaceful, it’s cinematic, and it really sets the tone for what’s to come. We spend the night in the quirky town of Eureka before exploring the Victorian charm of its old mansions the next morning – a rare slice of history in this part of the States.
But then comes the real showstopper – Redwood National Park. After securing our permits, we hike through the Tall Trees Grove Trail, totally surrounded by skyscraper trees, dense green shrubbery, and even spot some Roosevelt Elk. Midway through the trail, we witness a forest fire being put out, a reminder of just how wild and alive this part of the world is.
To finish the vlog, we cross the state line and say hello to Oregon with a jaw-dropping sunset at the Natural Bridges. Trust me – if you love forests, moody vibes, and hidden gems of the Pacific Coast Highway, this is one for you.
