The MAGIC of OREGON’S COAST! Epic Waterfalls, Cannon Beach & Keeping Portland Weird!
Oregon, you absolute beauty. Our Pacific Coast Highway road trip continues into a brand new state and straight into its moody, rugged coastline. We kick things off at Heceta Head Lighthouse before making our way up to Cape Perpetua and the dramatic Thor’s Well. This is where the ocean basically swallows itself. It’s chaotic, it’s mesmerising, and it sums up Oregon’s coastline perfectly.
Then it’s inland to the big city, but forget urban life for now, because Portland’s got nature on its doorstep. We explore the Columbia River Gorge and visit the iconic Multnomah Falls, an absolute giant of a waterfall that you just have to see in person. Back in the city, we catch sunset over the skyline and then dive headfirst into Portland’s famously weird vibes. Expect quirky signs, curious characters, and the kind of energy that makes Portland unlike anywhere else in the US.
Before heading north into our final state, we stop by the legendary Cannon Beach. It’s wild, windy, and a little melancholic – the perfect place to say goodbye to Oregon and reflect on just how beautiful and underrated this stretch of the PCH really is.
