Tonight NXT add another Takeover to their infamous collection – and it is the first one since joining the USA Network.
No doubt, it will be another spectacular show and therefore, I need to start predicting NXT shows on this website.
There isn’t much matches on this card, but every match has me excited, so let’s get predicting:
*UPDATED* Angel Garza vs Isaiah “Swerve” Scott
Of course a match gets added to the card after I write my predictions. This was only a 4 match show after all, so I kinda expected something like Garza vs Swerve to take place.
This match will be happening on the kickoff. I guess somebody has too go there and unfortunately these 2 were the only option. They both are fantastic though, so expect a great cruiser-weight style match up,
I have high hopes for Angel Garza, the latino is insanely talented and I can see big plans for his future. Therefore, I am picking him for the victory.

NXT Championship – #1 Contender’s Match – Pete Dunne vs Damian Priest vs Killian Dain
A match that was originally slated for the go-home NXT show, I’d say fits better on this PPV because it is definitely going to be a war!
Pete Dunne has been having issues with Damian Priest and while they have been sorting it out in the ring, Killian Dain decided to join the battle.
This has been announced as a #1 Contender’s match for the NXT Championship. Winner faces Adam Cole (Baybay) the next night at Survivor Series.
Any 3 forms of that match is a mouth-watering aspect, however, I believe Pete Dunne would be picking up the win.
He is the only face in this match and facing a heel Adam Cole (Baybay) seems more fitting.
Pete Dunne vs Adam Cole would also be a great showcase to gain more eyes onto the black & gold brand.

Finn Balor vs Matt Riddle
This could certainly steal the spotlight tonight!
Originally, Finn Balor was supposed to face Johnny Gargano but due to unfortunate injuries, Matt Riddle left the War Games match to take his place.
Finn Balor has been needing a revamped character for a while now and I’m happy this heel persona has been happening on NXT.
I can’t believe this will actually be his first match since been massacred by the Fien at SummerSlam, three months ago!
So due to that, I will be putting my money on Finn Balor.

War Games Match – Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae, Mia Yim & Tegan Nox vs Shayna Baszler, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair & Kay Lee Ray
The first ever female War Games match takes place tonight and I can’t wait!
We have team Rhea facing team Baszler in the demonic 1 cage, 2 rings structure.
I haven’t actually watched any previous War Games matches, so I am really looking forward to the 2 of them tonight and I wish it is a battle.
Anyways, I think NXT Champ, Queen of Spades – Shayna Baszler’s team will be picking up the win with the anticipated Dakota Kai heel turn halting the momentum of Rhea Ripley’s team. Due to her jealousy of not being picked over Mia Yim.
Prediction: Team Shayna Baszler
War Games Match – Undisputed Era vs Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee, Dominic Dijakovic & TBA
Before Adam Cole defends his NXT Championship, he has to team up with his Undisputed Era buddies to take on team Ciampa; which consists of Keith Lee & Dominic Dijakovic – 2 people that don’t really get along.
I am looking forward to seeing that dynamic of having to team up to take on the bigger threat.
There is also a vacant spot on Ciampa’s side. This is because Matt Riddle had to leave to face Balor.
I have heard a few rumours going around that it will either be: NXT leader, Triple H, RAW’s Seth Rollins or even a returning John Morrison.
I’d like it to be CM Punk, but that is definitely not happening.
Whoever it is, I think they will manage to help their team as I am predicting Ciampa’s team gets the victory.
This will be done to continue the feud between Tommaso Ciampa and Adam Cole (Baybay), which will probably become a singles match at the next NXT Takeover for the NXT Championship.
I’d also like to see Keith Lee and Dominic Dijakovic become NXT Tag Team Champions!
