There is a rumble in the jungle tonight (well, at least in Texas) as the annual Royal Rumble PPV begins for the 33rd time.
Royal Rumble is always one of the most exciting, fun PPV’s to watch – it is difficult to not have a good time while watching it. There are tons of surprises, returns, awesome spots, feuds ending and beginning as we hit the first hurdle in the Road to WrestleMania.
With that being said, the Royal Rumble is always one of the toughest to predict. There are 2 Rumble matches, each have 30 Superstars; they are not all confirmed – this makes in quite challenging to get the right prediction, however, sometimes, it is obvious who WWE will choose.
This year, it isn’t. I have a gut-feeling, however, there are doubts and it possibly could be anyone.
Let’s not waste anymore time, now let’s dive into the Royal Rumble Predictions:
30-Women Royal Rumble Match (Winner gets a title opportunity at WrestleMania 36)

The third annual women’s Royal Rumble takes place tonight and now it just feels normal to have a female Rumble…
Women’s evolution! Yay!
However, this one doesn’t feel as built as the previous two.
There has only been a few confirmed places with WWE trying to trick us into a Charlotte Flair win.
I’d punch myself if she actually did win but I am going to put down somebody that hasn’t been announced.
Nope, I’m not picking Ronda Rousey. Her singles match with Lynch does have to happen eventually, but not at WrestleMania.
I’m basing my prediction of the ending of Survivor Series 2019. Shayna Baszler closed the show after beating Becky Lynch and Bayley – the two champs of RAW & SmackDown.
If Baszler wins, which I can totally see happening, the Queen of Spades can have a blood-feud with the Man, Becky Lynch and a Championship match in Tampa at ‘Mania 36. We will be calling her the Queen of Pirates after that because ‘Mania is Pirate themed… Okay. I’ll stop.
Prediction: Shayna Baszler
Shorty G vs Sheamus

Remember when Sheamus beat Daniel Bryan for World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 28 in 18 seconds?
Well, I believe the returning Celtic Warrior will do that again when he faces the smallest wrestler, Shorty G.
One brogue kick, the 3-count, match over.
Sheamus needs a big push for most likely this final run in his prosperous career.
Prediction: Sheamus
RAW Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs Asuka

Last year, the landscape of WWE was quite different…
Brock Lesnar was champion… Okay, maybe not so different, but Asuka was SmackDown Women’s Champion and retained against Lynch at Royal Rumble 2019.
Now the tables have turned: Lynch is defending against the Empress of Tomorrow, one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Asuka. However, can things stay the same? Can Asuka tap out the Man?
I don’t think so, this is Becky’s time to move away from the Kabuki Warriors and start that rivalry with Baszler.
Prediction: Becky Lynch
United States Championship: Andrade (c) vs Humberto Carrillo

After a superb ladder match on RAW where Andrade retained his U.S. title against Rey Mysterio with aid from Zelina Vega, Carrillo returned to save Mysterio from the fate he suffered – hammerlock ddt on the outside floor.
Humberto Carrillo now has a chance for redemption, is it time for him to prove himself with his like 5th U.S. title opportunity since debutting on the red brand?
Tonight has to be the night, right?
I am risking it by predicting king of dimples gets his first WWE belt, maybe with assistance from fellow Luchador, Rey Mysterio.
Prediction: Humberto Carrillo
Falls Count Anywhere: Roman Reigns vs King Corbin

Will it ever end?!
Roman Reigns has another match with King Corbin, the most focussed feud of SmackDown.
This time they can lose anywhere as the stipulation is Falls Count Anywhere, this will allow for some hectic shenanigans. RooDolph can get involved! Uso’s can get invovled! If anyone else wants to join this endless storyline, they can get involved!
I wish Reigns finally overcomes the King, dethroning him for good, then moves onto better things.
Prediction: Roman Reigns
SmackDown Women’s Championship: Bayley (c) vs Lacey Evans

This, surprisingly, is one of the toughest matches to predict on the card.
I can see Bayley retaining and holding the belt for more face challengers, maybe next blonde is a face, Mandy Rose accompanied by Otis?
But I can totally see Lacey Evans winning the strap. She salutes, is a former-Marine and the crowd love her. WWE will be crazy not to capitalise on this momentum.
This just proves if a character is rightly booked, unlike Evans in the Summer of 2019, anyone can get over.
I’m putting Evans down as my prediction as I can picture Lacey Evans vs Sasha Banks being the booked ‘Mania 36 match for the blue Women’s belt. This is the reason why the match hasn’t occured for weeks of stating it will be.
Prediction: Lacey Evans
Universal Championship – Strap Match: “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt (c) vs Daniel Bryan

Alright, if you don’t know the rules of a strap match, let your boy fill you in (as much as I know):
The Fiend will have his wrist tightly gripped on one side of the strap – the other side will be gripped by Bryan. This is so they can’t leave the radius of the strap, meaning no escaping each others side.
Quite a pointless stipulation, but still an exciting match. I always look forward to seeing the Fiend and Bryan has made this storyline very interesting by stating Wyatt keeps running from his past.
However, I can’t see this stopping the Fiend as I predict he will continue his bloodbath until ‘Mania 36.
Prediction: The Fiend
30-Man Royal Rumble Match (Winner gets a title opportunity at WrestleMania 36)

I can’t wait to countdown with the buzzer and anticipate who will make there way to ring without doing a Titus Worldslide.
We know for a fact, that Brock Lesnar will be the #1 entrant! However, Brock will not win, the Beast doesn’t compete for an hour plus. This is why I think Cain Velasquez will return and eliminate him and probably exit himself.
There are many superstars rumoured to return: Edge and CM Punk being the most intriguing possibilities.
Each entrant could be placed in there to set up for a WrestleMania match, but none will surpass the Winner’s inevitable title match at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
High odds on favourites for this match is Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.
I will love a Sexy Scotsman to be the Royal Rumble winner but I feel like it is time for the Big Dog to enter the championship scene once again.
Also, it might be the only way to move on from this King Corbin rivalry.
If Reigns does become a 2x Rumble winner (more cheered than his first), I can see him challenging the Fiend at Pirate ‘Mania and more than likely regaining the Universal Championship.
Prediction: Roman Reigns

We have now placed our royalest predictions on this Rumble and I am pretty excited for this show!
Please tell me if you are looking forward to Royal Rumble 2020 along with your predictions.
Let’s hope WWE can put on a fantastic show (hard to guess in today’s creative) and we might have quite a different WWE afterwards.
Crazy time out! Bye! š
