WWE Hell In A Cell 2019 Predictions

Yowie-Wowie! WWE’s horrific Hell in a Cell PPV starts tonight and caps off an incredible week of wrestling!

We started with a new style for Monday Night RAW. The logo, the set, the title sequence – RAW felt fresh once again! This show ended in 50 Shades of Grey fashion with Lana snogging Bobby Lashley. Yes. That is how we began this new era of wrestling.

Next we had NXT – live on USA for the full duration. This was basically a Takeover event. Adam Cole defended his title against Matt Riddle. Finn Balor returned to the Black and Gold brand! Undisputed Era defeated the Street Profits. Tommaso Ciampa made his highly anticipated return. Personally, my favourite show of the week! NXT Takeover predictions will be beginning with War Games!

AEW had their 1st TV show which saw Jack Swagger jump ship.

Smackdown had it’s 1st showing on Friday nights on FOX. The set for this is incredible! However, it was such a strange episode of the product. Boxer, Tyson Fury started a rivalry with Braun Strowman? Brock Lesnar decimated Kofi Kingston in an upsetting manner. Poor guy, had all that momentum only to be beaten by the Beast in 9 seconds. Only to start a feud between Brock Lesnar and the guy that beat him in UFC – Cain Velasquez. This rivalry certainly didn’t need a title. I honestly thought it was Dominick with a shaved head and more muscles. At least the Rock was electrifying as always.

And this takes us onto the show I am predicting – Hell in a Cell. A PPV that I think WWE have totally forgot about with everything else going on. There is only 4 matches already announced and it begins in a couple hours. Expect more to be made tonight.

Anyways, let’s begin:

Roman Reigns & Daniel Bryan vs Erick Rowan & Luke Harper

Is Roman Reigns finally going to get justice after the hellish attacks from Rowan? Or will he be in for a bludgeoning?

At Clash of Champions, Erick Rowan picked up the surprise victory when Luke Harper made his shocking return in the aid of his former tag champ partner.

Reigns has began an unlikely alliance with the Planet’s Champion and former partner of Rowan – Daniel Bryan.

I can see this match going in 2 ways. Either Harper is punished by even thinking of walking out on the company or Daniel Bryan turns on the Big Dog to show that this was his plan all along.

I’d find it very entertaining if it was the second idea, but I am predicting the first one is the one chosen.

Prediction: Roman Reigns & Daniel Bryan

Smackdown Women’s Championship: Bayley (c) vs Charlotte

The latest match to be announced is a Clash of Champions rematch for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

Bayley’s heel booking hasn’t been the greatest and now I think is the best time to capitalise on her evil side. She needs to destroy Charlotte Flair and be happy she done so.

You can never tell if WWE is going to put the title back on Flair, so I could be wrong – but I think Bayley needs this.

Overall, it will work better with my next prediction…

Prediction: Bayley

RAW Women’s Championship – Hell in a Cell: Becky Lynch (c) vs Sasha Banks

Another Clash of Champions rematch but this time it is levelled up. This time Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks will fight inside Hell in a Cell. A structure that is known for altering careers and hurting anyone inside.

This will be the second ever Hell in a Cell match for the women’s division and Sasha Banks fought in the previous one. Does the Boss have the advantage?

Even if she doesn’t, I think it is time for the Man to lose her Women’s championship and it is time for the Boss N’ Hug Connection to rule over all.

Lynch can move over to Smackdown with the upcoming Draft next week, a place more suited to her popularity.

Therefore, it’s boss time!

Prediction: Sasha Banks

Universal Championship – Hell in a Cell: Seth Rollins (c) vs “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt

This PPV is being fully built around the Fiend and no wonder; he is the biggest spectacle in the company today, totally feeling different from the rest of the roster and fully deserving of being the main star of Monday nights.

Bray Wyatt has been fighting, altering his character and trying whatever it takes to show he belongs – he deserves the opportunity and the Fiend will help him.

I have never felt this excited to see a Superstar wrestle but I honestly can’t wait to see the Fiend make his eery entrance tonight.

He has to win. If he loses it will damage the character and he will be back down to square 1. If it ends in a no contest or interference it will be a disappointing ending similar to last year’s Hell in a Cell match.

Wyatt has to bring the Universal Championship back to the Firefly Funhouse.

Let. Him. In.

Prediction: The Fiend

There we go, if any matches are announced from now to showtime, I will make sure to add my prediction, but let’s hope Hell in a Cell is extreme, marvelous and fiendish throughout.

Enjoy!
